Tyler Cheetham
Introducing Fire Fighter Tyler Cheetham, callsign 323. Tyler has been in the department since Sept 2017.
Tyler is a 1001 Full Service Fire Fighter. He is trained in Sprinkler Protection, Livestock Rescue and is an Engine Boss. Tyler also is trained as an instructor and evaluator for Wildfire Suppression. He has been on 1 Wildfire deployment in 2021 just outside of Vernon. Tyler is always willing to do extra training and attend courses.
When Tyler isn’t training or on calls, he is a Math and Science Teacher at ADSS. These skills translate right into helping train recruits. Tyler’s hobbies include: board games, Dungeons and Dragons, hiking and reading.
Tyler says his favourite part about Fire Fighting is “the Comraderie, the sense of satisfaction for doing something that makes a positive difference in the community and driving big ol trucks.”
