Chief Banton says “What I have come to love about the fire service is recognizing the diversity in people’s backgrounds and life experiences, while coming together for a common goal, serving our community. It’s a beautiful thing to watch as each person joins the fabric of the organization continuously moving its culture forward. Each of our lives are deeply enriched and in many cases transformed by giving back to the community and fellow fire fighters.”
