MEET OUR MEMBER

Introducing Fire Fighter AJ “Blonde Stache” Johnson, callsign 312. AJ has been with us since Feb 2021, and was with Qualicum Fire Rescue for 2 years prior to that. AJ brings a calm and hardworking presence.

AJ is a 1001 Full Service Fire Fighter. He is trained as an Engine Boss, Rapid Damage Assessor and a member of our medical team. He is also is an expert in Wildfire Suppression. His full time job is working for BC Wildfire Service on Initial Attack out of Errington. AJ serves on the Health and Safety committee as well as Emergency Planning.

AJ is a Ground Search and Rescue member with Alberni Valley Rescue Squad. AJ when not going on calls or working for BCWS enjoys being a handyman. AJ has a vast background in construction and enjoys a good Reno. AJ also enjoys play hockey.
