Meet our Member Monday:

Welcome to a new series where each Monday we will introduce our hardworking fire fighters.

Starting off, introducing Fire Fighter Luke Hawser. Callsign 308. Luke is a highly dedicated, and passionate Fire Fighter. He has been with us since Dec 2018 joining just after high school. Luke took a step back for a year to pursue a career with BCEHS where he was able to get into the full time ranks on the Lower Mainland and has come back to the department.

Luke is an Interior OFC Fire Fighter and also runs the First Responder (medical team). Luke is progressing through his 1001 to become a Full Service Fire Fighter. He is certified in Wildfire Suppression, and Sprinkler Protection. He is also well known for his dad jokes.

In his day to day, Luke is a full time Primary Care Paramedic with BCEHS at Station 124. In his off time, Luke is actively involved in Karate and has obtained his black belt. Luke also loves the outdoors and hikes regularly.
