Introducing Fire Fighter Stephanie Maciol — Callsign 319

Meet Steph! She’s been part of the department since July 2024 and has recently completed her Exterior Fire Fighter certification, along with training in Wildfire Suppression.

Originally from Australia, Steph now calls Canada home. When she’s not answering the call, you’ll find her working at Alberni Brewery, enjoying time outdoors, and relaxing with her two cats, Freddie and Axel. She also loves spending quality time with friends and making the most of the island life.
