Luke Hawser
Introducing Lieutenant Luke Hawser. Callsign 308. Luke is a highly dedicated, and passionate Fire Fighter. He has been with us since Dec 2018 joining just after high school. Luke took a step back for a year to pursue a career with BCEHS where he was able to get into the full time ranks on the Lower Mainland and has come back to the department. Luke was promoted to LT on Sept 9th, 2025.
Luke is a 1001 Full Service FF and also runs the First Responder (medical team). He is certified in Wildfire Suppression, Engine Boss and Sprinkler Protection. He is also well known for his dad jokes.
In his day to day, Luke is a full time Primary Care Paramedic with BCEHS at Station 124. In his off time, Luke is actively involved in Karate and has obtained his black belt. Luke also loves the outdoors and hikes regularly.
