Jeff Findlay
Introducing Captain Jeff Findlay. Callsign 303. Jeff is a highly dedicated and passionate Fire Fighter. Jeff has been with the department since December 2002. Jeff has been in a leadership role for most of us time with CCFD, pushing positive change. Capt. Findlay is our Safety Officer.
Jeff is Full Service 1001 Fire Fighter along with Incident Safety Officer, Fire Officer 1, Engine Boss, Wildland Fire Suppression, Sprinkler Protection and many more qualifications. Jeff has served on many committees over the years including Ways and Means, and Public Relations. Jeff has been on 2 wildfire deployments including Williams Lake in 2017 and Pressy Lake in 2018.
In his day to day, Jeff is an Estimator for a Refrigeration and HVAC company. Jeff enjoys camping and quading with friends in his spare time.
Jeff says “The Fire Department has been my second family for so many years, it’s just what I am. I thrive on being part of the chaos of the calls and it’s a natural drug that just never leaves your life.
Fire fighting and training alongside my Son is a rewarding experience. Lots of people never get the opportunity to do what we do.”
